I’m leaving this post open for Jeff to comment on how freeking exciting the UCLA game was on Saturday. Holy Bejeez! That game was the definition of a barrel full of monkeys.

Thank you, Daniel.
Insane. I was exhausted after the game…I was screaming, nail biting and fist pumping so much I felt like I had been in a UFC fight. And even though my family knows my obsessive connection with Bruin basketball, I think even they were taken aback by my “performance.” But props to my Grandma who quickly adopted a UCLA ritual of putting one finger in the air for good luck during UCLA free throws. All I can say is Collison and Love are MONEY…but Shipp and the rest of the crew need to step up…and I know they will!
And big ups to Servo. After nearly 10 years of working on him, has finally fell in love with Bruins basketball. So much so that he tried to DVR the game when he had to miss it. Unfortunately, the DVR stopped before the game was over and Matt was heartbroken as only a Bruin fan could be. We’ve waiting a long time for you, Matt – welcome to the family.

I admit I haven’t watched too many games this season, but the few I’ve caught they were trailing for a lot of the game and came back to win it at the very end. That definitely makes for exciting basketball (boy howdy!). It doesn’t make for a confident pick to win the tournament.
And I have to say, your enthusiasm has definitely rubbed off on me too and I consider myself a (casual) UCLA fan.

Posted 25 Mar 2008 at 8:40 pm ¶That’s good…I could go on and on about why they have just as good shot as anybody else to win, but I won’t…I’ll just say you better be rooting for them to win even if you didn’t pick them.
Four more wins.
