Seriously folks, I must apologize for my lack of posts. I’d like to say that I’ve been totally busy with work and all that, but I really haven’t. I’ve just been in an odd mood and haven’t felt like posting. It’s nothing you said or did, it’s all me. Don’t be mad. Look! I’m posting now! Rejoice! Okay on to the nitty-gritty. I’ve got lots of stuff to get through so get to it.

1. While Lost is totally awesome, I scream every time it goes to commercial. I’m pretty sure it’s the reason God invented Tivo. Damn you Lost! Damn you!!!
2. I’ve been listening to some new music at work and came across the new NOFX live album, They’ve Actually Gotten Worse Live. If you like NOFX, its as good as it gets. I never got sucked into their last album, Wolves In Wolves’ Clothing, but I do love me some NOFX. (Side note:If its your birthday, go to track 7 – teehee)
3. Holy crap! The Kings traded Mike Bibby over the weekend for Tyronn Lue, Shelden Williams and some belly-button lint. I loved Bibby, but as many Kings fans did, realized it was time for him to move on. His contract was huge and like it or not, his numbers weren’t backing it up. The trade deadline is a few days away. I’m curious to see what else Geoff Petrie has up his sleeve.
4. Has anyone seen my American Beer DVD? I’ve been looking everywhere and can’t seem to find it. I remember letting somebody borrow it but can’t remember who (I’m still looking at you Jeff! j/k).
5. Speaking of beer, I have 2 updates. First off, I just transferred the Belgian Strong Ale to my secondary fermenter on Sunday and got a little sip off of it to make sure it was poisoned (it’s not). Damn, it was good. Also on the beer front – I finally installed a spigot and hop-strainer on the keg that my brother Branden gave me a while back. Now I don’t have to risk life and limb in order to pour liquid-hot magma (aka boiling unfermented beer) in a bucket. Now I can just open the spigot and drain the keg into the fermenting bucket. The next batch of beer will be brewed soon so stay tuned.
6. Sorry for the last minute update on this but Transfer is back in town and they have a brand spankin’ new EP for us to get hip to. (Editor’s note: I’d put the name of the EP but the firewall here at work doesn’t allow Myspace – will do once I get home). So they’re playing in Chico tomorrow night at Off Limits. Who’s comin’ with me? I’d love to make it down to the show in Sac, but its on a damn weeknight. I’m going to have some words with the guys about that. This will not stand. Also, in case you hadn’t heard, Jeremy (the bass player) has resigned from the band in order to become a full-time daddy and husband. Him and his wife Hilary had a baby girl last year and I can only imagine how tough its been with him on the road with the band. It’s not going to be the same without you Jeremy, but I know you won’t regret the decision. So with that, this will be the first tour with their new bass player. I don’t even know the guys name but, needless to say, I’m curious to see how he does. So yeah, see you at the show.[drumroll]And lastly, but certainly not least…
7. Just to keep you guys on your toes – We’re moving! Again! That’s right, we’re packing up and moving to a new house. We really got lucky with this one. Its a 1600sq feet. 3bedroom, 2bath house with a 2 car garage and (wait for it) a dining room! Finally, we can have people over and eat at a dinner table and not on our laps. The icing on the cake is that the rent is exactly the same as our tiny 2bedroom, 2bath house with no garage and no dining room. The only real downer is that we won’t be as close to downtown Chico, but we will still be within a hop, skip & jump from Aca Taco (thank god) and Kona’s and Burger Hut, and Terriyaki House, Jon & Bon’s.
