As you can imagine, with less than 2 weeks before the wedding, we are running around like crazy to get everything ready for the “big day”. We got our marriage license last week, Jackie has been putting together a bunch of decorations, we’re meeting with the DJ, talking with Ben at A&J for all the stuff we’re renting, and oh so much more. It looks like things are coming together finally and I hope everyone has a blast. I know we both will be ecstatic when the wedding finally comes because then we can sit back and relax and do absolutely nothing for the first time in what seems like an eternity. We both feel like we’ve been running around ragged since July and can’t wait to relax.
Don’t get me wrong, we couldn’t be happier to be getting married. We’ve waited a long time for this and are excited about our wedding, but with all the planning that goes into these things, it’ll be a relief when things are over. If Jackie wasn’t such an amazing planner and organizer and creative person, I don’t know what we would do because she is doing such an amazing job with planning our wedding.
I can’t wait to see all of you next week. Are you getting excited? I know I am.
