We’re making a lot of progress with our wedding plans. Sheesh, whoever needs a year to plan a wedding is a wimp.
I met with the DJ company yesterday and I’m pretty happy with how things went. I just need to go through their mini-list of songs and pick out ones we want to play. The only thing I’m having a hard time with is our first dance song. I picked three for Jackie to pick from and she shot me down on all accounts. So now its up to her to pick some songs and I’ll pick my favorite.
And FYI everybody, there will be no Macarena or Chicken Dance. There MIGHT be “Strokin‘” or a Conga line.. but don’t get your hopes up.
Jackie also met with Arlene yesterday to go over the invitations and she assures me that “they are gonna be cool, honey.” So yeah.. beware. We’re gonna have cool invitations. Also, Jackie is in Sacramento today to finalize my attire for this thing. Nothing fancy, but we’ve had a hard time finding a shirt that is the right color. It’s a good thing I’m not in charge of this thing or I might just show up in a Niners jersey (go Niners!).
Anywho, do you guys have any requests for songs? What was your first dance song.

The first part is a honeymoon fund to help us go to Hawaii where my aunt and uncle have let us have their time-share for 10 days in December. Sweet, eh? You can donate some money up above on the tab “Honeymoon” if you have PayPal account (or you can mail us money the old fashioned way). The second part will be a regular registry for very few items that we really want/need around the house, but that has yet to be set up. Stay tuned.
