Alright, so the wedding is 2 months away and now that we’ve finally moved to Chico we are getting in full-on wedding mode. We need to finalize the invitations and a DJ. Find and buy wedding rings. Finish getting decorations. Figure out what I’m going to wear (unless you want me to show up in my speedo’s). Jackie still needs to get her dress (see speedo comment).
We’ve been pretty lucky in that a lot of people have already helped us out financially and by offering their services. Our parents have been a HUGE help. Ben at A & J Party Center hooked us up with a ton of stuff and has been a big help with ideas and planning. Emma rocks and has helped us with some ideas and people to talk to. I think we’ve recruited the whole Minkler family as Arlene is doing our invitations and will be taking some pictures. Her daughter Annie is going to be making cupcakes for dessert to go along with a couple smaller cakes from Mim’s.
So as you can see we’ve got our hands full and have successfully mooched off of a lot of our friends and family for this wedding. It looks like it will be a hell of a party though, so keep an eye out for your invite.

Posted 04 Sep 2007 at 4:19 pm ¶Sirvantees, OF COURSE you’re invited, who else is going to urinate in the tree in the hallway of the hotel? I know I shouldn’t talk smack about being drunk at weddings and doing stupid things! Maybe for Dan & Jackie’s wedding I won’t get soo drunk, yeah right!
