Busy Beaver

So this week was pretty hectic. I started work in Chico on Wednesday and feel like I’ve been on the go ever since. I’m pretty excited about my new job. The people in the marketing department are really nice and they have a lot of cool things going on.

We’re still on the look-out for a place to live and Jackie and I are going to check out a place on Monday morning. Cross your fingers for us!

As for wedding plans, we’re pretty sure we’re going with The Black Crow. Oh yeah, that tasting I mentioned a while back was f’ing awesome. The food was so amazing and we left there completely stuffed and didn’t even get to taste everything. They served us a beer and we got to sit right up close to the kitchen and watch the chef make everything. Seriously folks, it was awesome. Also, it seems that in case you didn’t know it already, its a small world when you enter Chico’s city limits. The woman who runs the catering aspect of The Black Crow is Angela Reginelli (or was. She’s married now). She went to the same elementary school, junior high, and high school as me and was 2 years ahead of me.

Well, I gotta run. I have a bunch of chores to do around the house before we head off to Jeff & Natalie’s for a B-day BBQ and then we’re off to Chico where I’ll be there all week, so you may not hear from me until next weekend.

Angela runs the catering business at The Black Crow, as well as runs her own event planning business. She was in student government in high school.. other that, I don’t know.. she’s extremely friendly and that goes a long way with me.
