A month or so ago, I got a call from my aunt Sheryl. She called to tell me that her and my uncle have a time-share in Hawaii and wanted to let Jackie and I spend some time there for our honeymoon. I was totally flabbergasted.. Jackie and I had just planned on taking a road trip to Santa Barbara or Monterey or something.. We never imagined going to Hawaii. So needless to say we said “Yes Please!” and told my aunt and uncle thank you about a million times (Thank you!). After the jump, we need help with 2 things.
First, we need to find plane tickets to Kahalui (on the island of Maui). I found 2 roundtrip tickets for about $1100 on Expedia today, which is about $200-300 cheaper than I found last week. Is that about as good as it gets for 2 people?
Second, if any of you have been to Maui, or Kahalui specifically, what should we do? Where should we go? What shouldn’t we do? Jackie wants to go horseback riding, any tips on companies that do that? Anything you have to say would be great, so chime in below…

you have to go to the old town lahaina luau, it’s very authentic and romantic, especially when your husband/wife has pick eye, an ear infection and a sinus infection! Oh yeah the snorkeling boat we went on alli nui (www.allinui.com) was awesome! A small boat so less people and all you can drink after snorkeling, we had special sprites!
